Owner / Videographer / Editor / DVD Authoring
Mr. Dodge has been working with video production since the early 1990's in Portland, Oregon. Starting as a minimum wage-earning shipping-room clerk at NorthWest Video Works in '93 (whose diverse clientele involved Nike, Wieden + Kennedy and Les Schwab), Dodge ultimately expanded his knowledge of film, TV and Nonlinear Video Editing the only way there really is to learn; by producing his own video projects.
After working on several self-produced projects through the local community access station (1990 - 97) and getting a 'trial by fire' education as the Key Set Production Assistant for the Motion Picture, 'Blast' (1998), Mr. Dodge joined forces with the Owen Sabin Occupational Skills Center in the late 90's as a technical assistant. Tasks mostly consisted of trying to educate High School students in the fine art of live television production.
Also a founder of the local artistic film collective, Darge Productions, Dodge has learned the 'Show Biz' ropes by working extensively for his father's company, Stew Dodge Sound since 2003. Mr. Dodge is quite comfortable with either live or scripted video production and strives to get the best sound and video in even the most chaotic & challenging of environments. Jeff Dodge is the primary video editor, DVD author and 'A' Camera videographer of Visual Services.
