While we are not a Duplication house, DVD transfers and / or copies are available.  These rates also apply to additional Masters or anything DVD related.  Bulk orders of 50 or more will need at least 2 weeks notice (also consider Superdigital for bulk orders). 

  All DVD's are recorded in DVD-R format and are fully authored. 

  All Discs & Inserts are ink-printed and custom made (additional Logos / Images are welcome in PDF, JPG and Tiff Formats).

  All DVD's are limited to a 2 Hr Maximum (video will contain artifacting at any lower compression rates than this).

  All DVD transfers will include a Chapter Marker assigned every 30 minutes and accessible through the main menu.

  The client will receive 1 Complimentary DVD Master of Production.  A complimentary DATA Disc can be made upon request.  The cost for duplicates follows: 

   Transfers can incorporate a number of variables.  The basic rate for any form of video being transferred to DVD is $10 pr Hr of video + number of duplicate DVD's.  This can be misleading, since many VHS tapes are often recorded in Extended Play mode and 1 VHS Tape may end up containing 6 to 8 hrs of video.   That would end up being $60 - $80 for 1 VHS tape.

   Once the tapes are digitized, the client has the option of DVD Authoring tools being applied (back to Authoring rate of $50 pr Hr).  Visual Services will provide free 30 Minute DVD Chapter markers on orders longer than 1 hr. 

   HDV or MiniDV Tape is another way of preserving masters at a higher quality (especially in DVCam mode but remember that's only 42 minutes of actual recording per 1 Hr cassette).  For an additional DVCam Tape Master, we charge $10 pr miniDV Tape used or $25 pr HDV Tape used.

  DVD Authoring is another service we provide using DVD Studio Pro.  Like the other Final Cut Studio Suite programs, DVD Studio Pro offers complete interactivity with the editing process.  And it, too, has matured into a very professional and imaginative interface. 

   DVD's can be customized to fit any of your specific needs.  All DVD's include a Menu Page and 30 minute Chapter markers (unless otherwise specified).

  DVD Authoring is $50 per Hr  or  $35 per Hr for our Non Profit partners. 

    Once an event or project has been digitized, it's not that difficult to produce an audio CD (especially in the case of music).  Our standard rate is  $25 for the first CD-R master (this includes mixing down with a real basic EQ & Compression).  The above DVD rates also apply for duplicate CD-R's (except we will use CD jackets & cases in place of DVD cases).  If you are looking at recording more than 2 Tracks of audio or you want a good set of studio ears for mixing down, you might want to talk with Aloha Sound since they are equipped with great multi-track recording gear and have been mastering complex mix-downs for a number of years.
